It's times for the fourth edition of ‘The view from Bankstown & Camden Tower’ newsletter, keeping Bankstown and Camden pilots and operators informed and safe, both on the ground and in the air. This marks a year of quarterly editions, which we look forward to continuing as we rapidly approach 2026!
In this edition of The view from Bankstown & Camden Towers we take a look at the ongoing runway works occurring at Bankstown. We discuss tips from ATC on the heightened risk of entering a runway without clearance, along with the importance of listening closely to the ATIS and conducting a thorough briefing before setting off. We further discuss planning for alternatives, should your preferred option not be available from ATC, as well as providing advice on establishing timely two-way communication with ATC when inbound, in order to reduce the risk of airspace infringements!
