As Australia’s Air Navigation Service Provider, Airservices is responsible for providing safe, efficient, secure and environmentally responsible services to the aviation industry. To ensure the efficacy of core navigation systems and infrastructure, Airservices regularly conducts flight calibration inspections on our network of navigational aids using specially equipped aircraft.
Through our Request for Information (RFI), Airservices is seeking to understand the current landscape of emerging technologies in the Flight inspection of navigational equipment. Through this engagement with the market, Airservices seeks to understand the capability, capacity and expected timeline of/for market participants to deliver an operationally viable Flight Inspection Services (FIS) Solution of the future.
This site has been established to openly and transparently engage with industry throughout the RFI process. Everything you need to respond to the RFI will be included on this site, including access to further information and the ability to contact key staff for further information or assistance. All questions and answers provided through the process will be published (unless confidentiality is requested).
