Detailed design feedback summary and assessment report available

We are pleased to share the Detailed design Feedback Summary and Assessment Report outlining the feedback received from our June - September 2025 engagement and our responses.

Implementation

The Office of Airspace Regulation has approved the Airspace Change Proposal for WSI Airport. The airspace and flight paths will be implemented from 9 July 2026. In the lead up to implementation, we will continue to keep you informed on what to expect and how you can provide feedback on aircraft operations.

Noise monitoring

Prior to the implementation of the airspace and flight paths, we will install noise monitors to record current noise levels and gather data on the new operations. This includes the roll out of the temporary noise monitoring program. Community members will be notified of the outcome of their Expression of Interest submission in the new year. Please refer to the report for further details.
