Thank you to all who took the time to share your feedback during our first round of engagement on recommendations 1, 3 and 5 of the Post Implementation Review.

We received over 750 submissions which included both direct email submissions and survey responses. We also had over 45 people attend our online engagement sessions which were held in November, December and January.

Feedback from the community has raised a range of concerns, most notably regarding aircraft noise, traffic levels, lifestyle implications, and wider environmental issues.

We are currently collating the feedback and preparing an Options Assessment Report. This report will assess each option engaged on against the intent of the recommendation and noise outcome criteria where relevant, as well as consider the community and industry feedback received to identify next steps. Community members will have the opportunity to review and provide feedback on this report. Once it is finalised, we will publish it on this webpage along with details on how to submit feedback.

Following this, we will commence development of the preferred options progressing from this assessment. We expect engagement on preferred options to occur in the second half of the year, along with initial options in relation to the remaining flight path change recommendations.
