In this our fifth edition we take a look at a number of common issues and concerns, which continue to be prevalent at Moorabbin. We discuss instances of a failure to follow traffic, calling on the incorrect frequency, as well as entering a runway without clearance. We also discuss the complexities of instructor/check pilot intervention and the role of ATC when evaluating the timeliness of any necessary intervention in a busy training environment like Moorabbin.
