Package 4 - session details and more information

We are pleased to announce the proposed dates and locations for community engagement on Package 4 of the Noise Action Plan for Brisbane. We’ll be hosting in-person drop-in information sessions as well as online Q&A sessions.

Detailed information on proposals including maps and a video will be released next week. Feedback will be open from Monday 9 November to Sunday 13 December 2026.

What is Package 4?

Package 4 of the Noise Action Plan for Brisbane investigates safe and practical ways to use the existing Brisbane airspace differently to better manage aircraft noise. It also includes a review of the South East Queensland airspace. You can read more about Package 4 here.

Online sessions

Trax will be available online through a series of “question and answer” sessions. Residents are invited to review the Package 4 material and bring their questions to an online session with Trax. We have online Q&A sessions following the release of Package 4 information, mid-way through the in-person sessions and again toward the end, to provide multiple opportunities to raise questions direct with Trax.

Drop-in information sessions

You’re invited to drop in to our sessions at any time and any location to discuss the options with Airservices. We would appreciate it if you could let us know when you’re planning to attend – if venue capacities are reached, we will be obliged to prioritise entry for people who have registered.
