Jandakot Airport has recently experienced an increased demand for airspace and circuit operations, thereby escalating both congestion and operational complexity. Responding to similar experiences at other aerodromes across Australia, Airservices Australia has successfully implemented air work and circuit booking systems to enable air traffic control (ATC) and airspace users to manage capacity and tactical workload safely.
Airservices is considering the option of an air work booking system at Jandakot Airport to support the safe and efficient management of aerodrome traffic, and to communicate available aerodrome capacity more effectively. To facilitate feedback from stakeholders, a sample air work booking webpage for Jandakot Airport has been developed and the link is provided on the right-hand side. The webpage displays the following:
15-minute minimum time slots
Maximum 8 fixed-wing circuit slot columns per day
Bookings can be made 2 weeks in advance
The sample webpage can be accessed using the following log-in credentials - Username: training1 Password: training
A User Guide is available for reference and is available on the right-hand side. Registration for the air work booking system will include acceptance of the Fair Use Policy attached to the User Guide. Malicious behaviour is and will continue to be monitored by Airservices’ National Coordination Centre.
How do I get involved?
As part of our commitment to engage with our stakeholders, we are seeking your feedback on whether you support the implementation of an air work booking system at Jandakot Airport, and if not, to provide further information about your opposition and or concerns with the proposal.
Subscribe to this project page to receive updates by clicking the Stay Informed button. You can provide feedback on this proposal to Airservices using the 'Submit your Feedback' form between 04 April 2022 to 25 April 2022.
What happens after the feedback period?
We will take into consideration all feedback as we explore this option. Your support to deliver this initiative is appreciated.
