Flight Information Management System (FIMS): Request for Information
As part of our role in Australia’s proposed UTM architecture, Airservices Airservices is in the process of gathering information relating to the development of a Flight Information Management System (FIMS). Our FIMS Request for Information (RFI) is seeking information from industry on the key elements that may constitute a future FIMS solution.
Following analysis of the information received from the market, Airservices may proceed to a following stage - FIMS Prototype development, a Request for Proposal (RFP). Further information on the FIMS RFI and RFP processes can be found here or in the Document Library to the right.
This site has been established to openly and transparently engage with industry throughout the RFI process. Everything you need to respond to the RFI will be included on this site, including access to further information and the ability to contact key staff for further information or assistance. All questions and answers provided through the process will be published (unless confidentiality is requested).
We welcome you submitting any questions you have regarding the FIMS Request For Information.
We will respond to all questions. Please note that all questions submitted, along with corresponding answers, will be made public unless you specifically identify the elements of your question that are commercial-in-confidence. We may also consolidate an answer to similar questions.
