The draft agreement has a placeholder for inputting ABN. Is ABN necessary for responding to this RFP? Can international companies who do not have an ABN participate in this RFP?

Airservices encourages companies to seek their own tax advice and/or look at the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) website. A useful place to start would be the following link: https://www.ato.gov.au/Business/International-tax-for-business/Foreign-residents-doing-business-in-Australia/

If the company is not required to have an Australian Business Number (ABN) they will be required to complete a Statement by a Supplier form (https://www.ato.gov.au/Forms/Statement-by-a-supplier-not-quoting-an-ABN/).

Annexure D -Detailed Proposal: System Requirements Specification: Does Airservices require a detailed response for the Developer's understanding of each system requirement specification or will a simple "Comply" suffice.

Providers should provide a detailed proposal, including any supplementary information to support their compliance with the System Requirements, noting that Airservices intends to select Preferred Providers, against the RFP evaluation criteria, based on their written proposals in the first instance.

Any compliance variances to the System Requirements can be justified through Annexure E.
