Darwin Airport Changes to Arrival Procedures

What is going to change?
Airservices will implement changes to arrival procedures for aircraft arriving from the south to Runway 11 at Darwin Airport.
The pattern of aircraft arriving from the south to Runway 11 will change. Community members of Belyuen and Wagait Beach may visually notice some aircraft tracking along a different arrival path than usual.

Why are the changes necessary?
The changes are intended to improve safety through improved separation assurance for arrivals to and departures from Runway 11 at Darwin Airport.
When will this change occur?
These changes are planned for May 2020.
