Community Wellbeing Support

As part of the Noise Action Plan for Brisbane, to support community wellbeing, Airservices Australia has extended our Employee Assistance Program to any community member who is feeling negatively affected by aircraft operations. This assistance program is a confidential service, provided at no cost to community members.

The assistance program is provided by Converge International and is completely independent of Airservices Australia.

When using the assistance program, community members can speak with a qualified counsellor specifically selected by the service provider to best support your issue. Counsellors are experienced across a range of issues.

  • sleep concerns
  • personal and emotional stress
  • relationship or family matters
  • work-related stress
  • changes in your work environment
  • grief
  • mental health concerns.

The Converge International counsellors can assist you to gain insights to inform decisions and directions, and they can help you to adapt to change, seize opportunities and provide coping strategies when dealing with difficult situations.

This program is:

  • A free-of-charge, completely confidential service
