In response to community feedback on the limited numbers advised previously for these sessions, we have increased from two to four sessions, and will consider additional sessions if necessary. We have maintained the limit of 50 people per session to manage COVID-19 risks and to ensure we can have a meaningful discussion with attendees. A Livestream will also be provided on the Engage project page.
Purpose of the sessions
These sessions will provide an opportunity for the community to learn more about the PIR purpose and process, and to discuss the draft PIR Terms of Reference (ToR), including some of the feedback we have received to date. An updated draft ToR will be provided to the community for further comment following the sessions.
To allow for greater participation, we will be holding the sessions in both in-person and online formats. We will publish a recording of the key presentations on our Engage Airservices site after the events.
Filming and camera equipment is not permitted in the sessions as they deter participation.
Airservices will host more community information sessions and workshops at key points during the PIR. This will also be discussed in these first meetings.
Registration for attendance
Due to COVID-19 restrictions in Brisbane affecting the number of people allowed in indoor venues, and to provide a meaningful opportunity for discussion between Airservices and the community, sessions are limited to 50 guests and all attendees must RSVP.
To join our sessions, please complete the Registration Form. Registration will close on Wednesday, 6 October. Registrants will be sent email confirmation prior to the sessions.
Watch the Livestream
A link to the Livestream will be provided on the Engage project page prior to the session. You do not need to register to participate in the Livestream.
Submit questions
To allow for equitable participation in the sessions and gathering of any data to support more detailed responses, we are asking that community questions be submitted in advance of the sessions, by Wednesday, 6 October, using the online Registration Form.
If you do not intend to attend in person but would still like to ask a question you can submit them via this form .
Questions submitted through registration for the previously scheduled sessions have been recorded and will be used to guide presentation content. The opportunity to ask questions online and in person at the events will be provided, but responses may be limited by reasonable access to supporting information.
COVID Safety Measures
We will be complying with all COVID safety measures required at the time of the sessions. Please ensure you bring a mask and adhere to Queensland Government check in requirements.
This project is closed.
