Conclusion of Step Three community engagement

Community consultation on the preferred design for the Bankstown Airport Southeast VFR Corridor has now concluded. We would like to thank everyone who provided feedback.

Feedback from the community on the preferred design will be reviewed and shared with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), who has also consulted the aviation industry about the proposed changes.

We are working with CASA to consider all feedback received from both the community and aviation industry, and what additional changes should be incorporated.

Subject to CASA approving the proposal, it is expected that the changes will be implemented on 9 July 2026. The community will be notified of the decision prior to this time.
