Airservices is seeking industry feedback on any operational requirement for the rotating aerodrome beacon at Alice Springs Airport.
Recently we have identified no impact on industry during a period that the aerodrome beacon was not available due to technical issues. We would like to further confirm if this would be the case on an ongoing basis before a decision for its decommissioning can be made. We would appreciate industry response to the following survey that is open until 25 June 2021.
Airservices is currently reviewing the feedback received and will update industry once a decision for it's decommissioning can be made.
